These places don’t close until as late as 6 am! The Santa Catalina neighborhood is a trendy area with cocktail bars along the main street called Carrer Sant Magi. As the night goes on, you’ll notice more bars with dance floors begin to open up.
Mallorca is a great place to try traditional Spanish food like croquetas and tortillas. Mallorca also has its own cuisine passed down through generations of local families. Mallorcan dishes are hearty and flavorful. For breakfast, try the pastry called an Ensaïmada with chocolate for dipping. A sobrasada sandwich is a typical mid-day snack, and for dinner try the dishes Frito Mallorquin and Tombet.
There is so much to do in Mallorca! If you’re traveling far, I recommend staying at least a week. A week gives you enough time to explore Palma and make day trips to different parts of the island during your visit.
